How We Do It

Step 1 – Goal Setting and Alignment

This step is primarily accomplished in our first two meeting where we investigate your values and conduct a Gap Analysis between where you are now and where you want to be. This allows us to create a individual service offering according to your personal situation, wants and needs. Once agreed, our Service Offering will be documented, including an Action Plan which prioritises our work and identifies who will do what by when.

Step 2 – Collect Your Personal Financial Information

Unlike most financial planning firms, we do not put you through the laborious, boring and frustrating task of completing a 60+ page “Fact Find” document. Once we have completed Step 1, we will seek your assistance to help us obtain all of your financial information from its source: your employer, bank, accountant, super fund, insurance provider, solicitor etc. This saves you time and frustration and ensures we have 100% accurate data from which to devise our strategies.

Step 3 – Strategy Development

Once we know what you want to achieve and have sourced all of your current information we will devise personalised financial strategies to meet your needs across all of the major financial areas, including:

  • Cash Flow Reconciliation
  • Budgeting
  • Debt Management
  • Asset Ownership Strategies for Asset Protection, Tax Efficiency and Estate Planning
  • Personal Risk Insurance
  • Estate Planning
  • Investment Strategies and Management
  • Superannuation Strategies and Management including Self Managed Super Funds
  • Retirement Planning

For more complex clients, we may include strategies around:

  • Intergenerational Wealth Management
  • Business Succession Planning
  • Investment Board Membership
  • Private Anciliary Fund Establishment and Management

Step 4 – Strategy Implementation

We understand that you are busy and so once we have agreed each strategy with you, we will implement the advice ourselves or project manage appropriate subject matter experts (such as accountants, solicitors, investment experts, etc) to bring your financial strategies to life. This includes working with your current professional service providers or helping you select and manage new professional service relationships as required.

Step 5 – Ongoing Review and Management

Ongoing Review and Management of your Financial Strategies is vital to ensure the plan continues to be appropriate to your situation and the changing world.  The key part of our review program includes:

  • Measure – Your performance towards your goals, your savings and investment performance
  • Review – Your situation
  • Discuss – Your goals and objectives and how they have changed over the past 12 months
  • Adjust – The plan in order with your changing circumstances, legislation and investment markets
  • Implement – Our recommendations
  • Administer – The recommendations
